Club Vacancies

Sandbach United Football Club relies on volunteers to perform the Management\Coaching roles (and many others) within the club, without volunteers there would be no club.

If you wish to volunteer to be a manager or coach, please speak to other managers or committee members about what is involved and if you are still interested, complete the form and send it back to us. We will then arrange an informal interview with the Welfare Officer and the Football Strategy Officer so your suitability can be assessed and so that you know what you are agreeing to! You need to follow the club rules and policy (football development policy and codes of conduct) and any others in place, including those of the appropriate league.

As we are a Charter Standard Club, our volunteers are CRB checked and receive FA Level 1 coaching training (which must be booked by the club Welfare Officer), before becoming a manager or coach. The Emergency Aid and Safeguarding Children elements of the training have to be renewed every 3 years.

Note that this can take a while due to the time it takes for CRB checks and the other training, so if you are interested in Managing or Coaching next season you need to start the previous January.
