Sandbach United would like to announce the signing of Aaron Knight. The exciting former Bolton Wanderers player re-joins us after a great start to this season at fellow NWCFL side Stockport Town saw him gain two Man of the Match awards and scored the opening goal for their FA Vase victory over Skelmersdale United last month.
Knight, who has previously played for the aforementioned Wanderers, has also played for Patro Eisden in Belgium and had a stint professionally in Spain. The creative attacking midfielder looks to help The Ramblers push for promotion this season and will be welcomed back with open arms.
You can follow Aaron Knight on his Twitter @AaronKnightIV, and on there you shall see his love for the club hasn’t wavered with his pinned tweet showing a wonderful (if we do say so ourselves) free kick in the Sandbach colours.
We are all looking forward to seeing what the 24-year-old will bring to the team and it appears the old adage is true once more; you can take the boy out of Sandbach United but you can’t take Sandbach United out of the boy. Welcome back Aaron Knight.
